8 Amazing Theme Lands
1.Legoland Hotel
If you are staying over night, the Legoland Hotel is an attraction itself. Themed with Lego throughout the lobby and rooms, kids get their own play areas while parents can enjoy family-friendly service.
2. Lego City
A great playground for those mini pilots, drivers or fire fighters in the making. Children can drive mini cars, go on a fire rescue mission or simulate flying. It’s interactive, and it’s fun for parents to participate, too.
3. Lego Castle
Get ready to enter the magical world of a medieval fairy tale with knights, dragons and castles. The gem is the castle-themed roller coaster and adventure rides, which older kids and adults love.
4. Lego Ninjago World
Ninja enthusiasts adore this one. Inspired by the Lego Ninjago series, the attractions are very interactive — you use hand movements to shoot off “energy blasts” and beat bad guys. You work but it’s a very enjoyable experience.
5. Lego Friends Zone
Inspired by the Lego Friends line, this pastel world is packed with stages and mini-performances. It starts out girly but boys won’t be bored — many of the games and activities are gender-neutral. Great for photo ops as well.

6. Bricktopia
Here is where fantasy becomes reality. Children can immerse themselves in interactive rides and hands-on activities, constructing cars and racing them down tracks. Parents say it’s a lifesaver — keeps the kiddos occupied for hours.
7. Miniland (Brick Street)
The resort’s central hub and the “front door.” Lined with restaurants, shops and souvenirs stores, this is where most families come in first. Children could find themselves stuck here browsing the countless Legos for hours before you’ve even had breakfast.
8. Monkie Kid World
A Lego IP that is original and inspired by Chinese culture. Rides and shows, which draw on themes of Journey to the West and traditional legends, are characterized by bold Chinese-style design. Look for thrilling coasters and immersive theater experiences.

List of Ticket Prices
1.Early Bird One-Day Ticket
Before visiting LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort, be prepared with an understanding of ticket options to avoid over-spending in the theme park. By booking ahead you are ensuring entry and savings with our Early Bird One-day Ticket! This discounted fare can be bought no earlier than 10 days before your train trip and has a discount of 30 CNY for standard price.
Prices are at 289 CNY for adult and children (age between 2-12) and senior citizen aged 60 years old above is at the price of each 225 CNY.
2. Standard One-Day Ticket
If you’re into spontaneous planning, the type to not adhere to earlyish bird tickets, then there’s still the Standard One-Day Ticket: 319 CNY for adults, or 255 CNY for kids and seniors. To book either class of ticket and to check out the current offers, authorized channels are Trip.com for deals, Klook for special offers and KKday for VIP deals.
Buy Legoland FASTTRACK to Avoid Waiting in Line
If you’re visiting on a Saturday or Sunday, purchasing the FASTTRACK may be advisable. Weekdays, I don’t recommend it due to a less crowded park typically, but weekends it definitely works.
Please be aware that you can only buy FASTTRACK on the day of your visit. Do the lines first, and then make a decision. Single Ride FASTTRACK is priced at 78 CNY a ride (adults and children).
Valid for the main attractions. The cost for unlimited FASTTRACK is 788 CNY (regardless of age). Covers all major rides.
Install the LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort App
The official LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort App displays real-time wait times for each ride, show schedules and restaurant locales. To be frank, it’s the essential part of having a good day.
Things You Can't Bring Into the Park
Before you pack your bag, here are a few rules to keep in mind. You may bring snacks like cookies or bread, but I suggest trying at least one of the park’s restaurants for the experience. No glass bottles.
Drones are not allowed. Large luggage of more than 46 cm x 33 cm x 20 cm must be placed in luggage storage and cannot go into the park. No folding chairs or stools permitted.
Selfie sticks are banned — little ones might be allowed, but the big ones aren’t. It’s technically illegal to have them at all, so you’re best off not even bothering.
Recommended Hotels Near LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort
The only themed hotel name currently advertised at the LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort is called LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort Hotel. It is absolutely worth the experience, if you can afford it.
The LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort Hotel is the family travelers ultimate destination for an unforgettable experience next to the park entrance. At a cost of 1,270 CNY per night on average, it's essentially a premium and value hotel, with rates and KTV deals offered through various Trip Deals.
The hotel has an outstanding guest score of 9.3 on Trip. com, attesting its expertise and high level of service. It simply has kid-friendly features that cater for younger guests such as creatively themed family rooms, which allow kids to enjoy an exciting stay in a space tailored to their comfort.
Best of all, the hotel’s location simply can’t be beat: a two minute walk takes you to the park and you can even see some attractions while sitting in your room. Step outside and you’re in a retail district.
The lobby and public spaces are saturated in play-inducing dopamine colors, with giant Lego planet sculptures, life-size Lego builds including birds, carousels and orca whales, play centers and themed stairwells. The halls are girded by one of the world’s largest Lego mini-figure collections you will ever lay eyes on.
Rooms are inspired by Lego City, with children’s sleeping areas in the shape of a firetruck and equipped with bunk beds; also on offer is a pool filled with Lego dunking bricks. Kids can participate in a room treasure hunt too – solve the puzzle and crack open the safe for a surprise.
Every room comes with two TVs showing Lego cartoons and even Lego sets to play with. Very good soundproofing, it's so comfortable for families.
Baggage Storage
There are lockers inside of the LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort. Self-service lockers for bags are located right after the entrance.
But I always go with the luggage lockers at Jinshan North Railway Station. And it’s much easier and cheaper to reach if you take the train, so there is no need to schlep your luggage to the park.
There are lockers for travelers at both Legoland & Jinshan North Railway Station but there is a large price/capacity difference. Legoland has three sizes of lockers. There was a big locker, 80 CNY per day, its size was enough for 2 carry ins and big bag.
And medium lockers are 60 CNY per day and small locker is available for 40 CNY when you are visiting. Those coming by railway may take Jinshan North Railway Station as another choice where the daily price of locker is 10-20 CNY. These storage are located to the right of you when leaving the station.
