Things You Can't Bring Into the Park
Shanghai Disney Resort maintains a definitive list of the things guests are not permitted to carry through its gates, enforced to ensure every one has a safe and comfortable experience. No alcoholic drinks whatsoever, and no cans or glass containers—baby-food jars are the singular exception. Oversized luggage is also banned: anything that doesn't fit in a bag 56 cm × 36 cm × 23 cm, or something with wheels that's designed for travel.
Wheeled mobility toys like skates, skateboards and shoes or strollers or wagons designed to be pulled by a dog will not be permitted, nor will strollers or wagons longer than 110 centimeters in length or wider than 80 centimeters (inclusive of all accessories). The airspace above the park is free of drones, kites and any other remote-controlled craft, and the land within its boundaries is stroller, tripod and stabilizer-free so as not to obstruct paths or views. Chairs and stools are deemed dangerous in the densely packed area, and so are banned.
Service animals alone may accompany their owners, as long as they are leashed and under full control —but even they might be asked to skip certain attractions. Last but not least, visitors can't bring the type of food they may need to heat up (i.e. instant noodles, self-heating meals) nor those with an pungent smell (like durian for instance), so there is no compromise in terms of being able to soak up everything the park has to offer without being disturbed by any unpleasant flavors.
